From April 17-21 2023, the GACC South will welcome a delegation of German ‘Smart City’ businesses to Texas. The delegation, made up of German SME’s within the Smart City sector, will travel to Austin and Houston on a market entry trip. Both Austin and and Houston lead the way in Smart City technologies in the Unites States and offer substantial business opportunities for German companies looking to expand into the US market. The goal of the trip is to introduce visiting German companies to the market, give them the opportunity to expand their business network through briefings, conferences, B2B meetings, site visits, and discussions with local industry experts.
This delegation trip is sponsored by the German Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK). Through funding for market entry trips, the BMWK aims to support German companies in their foreign trade activities and expansion of business contacts in the USA.
